We used to think that one of these days, Atlanta Pro Audio´s Used Gear Room would run dry and we´d be promoting an empty room, but no!  We keep loading up on some really super gear.  When great studios upgrade their rooms to keep clients happy, they trade in racks of the very equipment that made them great.  And sometimes when a singer sell a record or two, that $2000 mic pre just isn´t good enough for those golden vocal chords any more.  And of course, we all know that when a band make it big, the rigs that worked great in the 2000 seat halls just don´t have the sparkle their adoring fans deserve for larger venues.  Well, excuse me!  If any of this sounds like ego run amok, you´re right.  Because we´re talking about some great equipment.  But the good news is, you can be the winner!  What some folks don´t need may well be the stuff of dreams for most of us.  Just drop by to see what we have in our Used Gear Salon… and drop by often, because stock changes every day.  It´s sort of like a used car lot, but without the tires.  Or the smell.

Here Are Some Treasures We Have Right Now

Ramsa DA7 MKII

Listed here is a Panasonic DA7 MKII in perfect working condition.  The meter board is included as are 8 XLR inputs, 8 TRS inputs, Word Clock I/O, AES/EBU and S/PDIF I/O, and an additional ADAT I/O card.  This is a complete package!  This unit has two cosmetic flaws: a few channels have faint marker notes on the scribble strips, and two channel fader caps are missing (the faders still work great).  Besides this, there are no other issues that I know of.  This is a GREAT CONSOLE for a GREAT PRICE!  JUST $995!  Please call Daniel at Atlanta Pro Audio (404) 329-9494 if you have any questions!

Tascam 1804

This Tascam FW-1804 Firewire audio/midi interface w/ 18 ins/12 outs was opened in our store but still has the original box and packaging, the driver CD and manual, firewire cable, and a power supply.  It works just fine.  This unit can currently be found at auctioon on our eBay site, at http://stores.ebay.com/AtlantaProAudio, with bids starting at just $120!  This is crazy!  Read on for more info on this unit.

The latest computer interface solution from TASCAM and Frontier Design Group brings many of the audio and MIDI interface features of the FW-1884 to a rackmountable format with the new FW-1804.  It features four great-sounding XLR microphone inputs with analog inserts and phantom power for professional condenser mics.  An additional four line inputs are provided, plus ADAT and S/PDIF digital connection for a total of 18 inputs and 12 outputs.  Two MIDI inputs and four MIDI outputs round out the interfacing with pro touches like word clock and a guitar-level input.  The FW-1804 includes TASCAM's latest software bundle, including 48-track/96k Cubase LE recording software and GigaStudio 3 LE software sampler.  The FW-1804 is the solution for anyone looking for a universally-supported audio/MIDI interface without the room for a control surface.
